The events include the following:
Monday: If any organization has adopted a stretch of highway, we encourage them to go clean it up. For those who don't, simply go outside and pick up trash on this day.
Tuesday: Stinson Creek cleanup. Thetas will be there at 4:00, but you can go during any free time.
Wednesday: Go Grunge Day 1. Simply wear something to class and do not wash it.
Thursday: Go Grunge Day 2. Wear the same shirt, or even entire outfit again. We do this to help save the energy and resources it would have used to wash these clothing items.
Friday: Your choice. Pick any go green activity and do it!
The ladies of EI also encourage everyone to pledge not to drive or to carpool.
The Thetas will be collecting plastic bags that we will take to a special recycling drop off point. We will be collecting these on Sunday April 10.
Remeber to Recycle all of your papers, plastics, and aluminum
We will also be giving go green tips throughout the week.
