This summer has been the same as every other since I was eight. At my house, summertime means one thing; show time! I live on a pig farm in Warrensburg, Missouri. My brother and I spend our summers showing pigs across the state through FFA, ending our season with the Missouri State Fair. During the summer, I wake up early to feed, walk and wash the show pigs and then repeat the process each night. After a long summer of hard work in the pig barn, I’ll be more than ready to return to school and see all of my fantastic Theta sisters!
